MALDIVES

Yachting & Liveaboard
Experience Photography

your vessel's next photoshoot starts here.

On this Earth, few places say 'dreamland' quite like the Maldives.

While many might associate the islands' nation with its opulent resorts, connoisseurs know it's the yacht / liveaboard experiences that authentically capture the essence of pure adventure and the Maldives' image of quintessential everything.

As an über-exclusive niche of the Grand Tourism Industry, such vessels draw on that unique appeal to craft some of the most distinguished hospitality experiences available internationally.

After all, the Maldives was historically a sultanate of seafarers.

With some of the world’s most well-traveled guests as clientele, the perceived value of your vessel is often judged by the quality of your visual marketing; And a big part of having an attractive media presence these days also means having beautiful, high-quality ‘hospitality & adventure experience’ photography.

In today's reality, the vast majority of potential guests will experience their initial encounter with your vessel through an online digital immersion. As such, it is fundamental to make that very first experience a significant and compelling part of the booking (i.e. buying) process.

Here, photography is the de facto marketing tool and the gateway to your customers' journey: it’s key for vacationers in choosing a vessel for their upcoming stay and sets the tone & expectation for the hospitality / voyage / adventure experience that awaits.

Visuals are your vessel's Ambassador.

LIFESTYLE

even more added value

1

Being based out of Sri Lanka means that travel expenses are fractional in comparison to flying a photographer in&out from the Middle-East or South-East Asia, Europe, or even the US.

2

I work alone, just with the help of your crew - this means that accommodation allocation & stay costs are significant less than for a photographer with one /several assistants or bigger crew.

3

As an ex-hotelier with 15+ years' experience as a hospitality photographer, the logistics and photo-technics of your vessel's photoshoot are second-nature, making the photoshoot a fluid, proactively responsive and organic process.

4

Additionally to being your photographer, I can take the lead on creative / art / styling direction, follow your image brief or work with your marketing / communications' team - adaptable to whatever your requirements.

models & co.

Should your property also require a lifestyle component for its shoot, then professional models are a must (not guests / passengers, amateur models etc.).

I work with leading model agencies in Sri Lanka / India / Dubai / Singapore to help source models required for client photoshoots - and can either be a simple facilitator (i.e. putting parties in touch), act as go-between, or manage the entire model aspect of your shoot.
